Explain Management as a social science

From the time to time the process and the concept of the management has been referred to as the science that helps the organisation and the various staff members of the organisation in the various types of the scenarios. But there have been times as studied in the various types of the research work that has been done in the past by the various researchers in the various parts of the world that very clearly depict the process or the concept of the management as the Social Science and the point of the matter is that the saying that the management is at times a part of the social science as well says it all with the various kinds of the evidences from the live scenarios that have in fact taken place in an organisation from the time to time, In the maximum of the research work the process of the management has been referred to as the science but the major point of the concern that must be noted here is that the same is also a part of the social science.

The main factors that support this fact is that like the various types of the sciences namely biology, physics and chemistry, all these types of the sciences are exact in the nature but the management is not at all exact in the nature of the working and hence in the other words, it is very often referred to as the inaccurate science as the same is not accurate like the physics, biology and the chemistry, the 2 types of the sciences that are prevailing. The various things and the results that have come out of the various 3 sciences are in fact accurate in the nature and the results are said to be following this if the same is exactly the same as the results of the 3 sciences but in the case of the management this is not at all the case as the process of the management is not at all fixed in the nature as every time the same needs to be different in the accordance of the various kinds of the features and the conditions that are surrounding the same in the day to day activities. The various principles of the science are generally referred to as the fundamentals of the truth but this is not at all the case in the case of the management. The same is supported by the fact that the results that are achieved here are not always the same and in fact keep on changing as they involve the different kinds of the applications at the different places and hence the result of all this is that the results that are achieved are or can also be quite different from time to time.

The main reason for all this is that the process of the management is having the involvement of the human beings at the various levels starting from the higher level to the lower level and the nature of the working of the human beings is such that the behaviour of the human beings depend on a lot of the factors and there is no chance that the same can be predicted in any of the cases. In the case of the science there is the involvement of the various types of the chemicals, the processes, the actions and the reactions that are always the same when done in the required way but this is not at all the case in the case of the human beings as there behaviour can not be predicted in any of the times and depending on the various kinds of the situations, it keep on changing from the time to time depending on the behaviour of the various others, the conditions and the requirements and a lot of such kind of the other factors as well. There have been a lot of the research work that has been done from the time to time in the various parts of the world in order to find out that the process or the concept of the management is the science or not and if yes, the type of the science that is being governing the flow of the concept of the management. A lot of the researchers from the time to time have worked in this regard and they have shown that the concept of the management is the process of the science only but it is generally referred to as the soft science as this kind of the science is based on the behaviours of the human beings and at times is also generally referred to as the behavioural science. So the process of the management has shown that the same is having its roots in the concepts of the political science, sociology and a lot of the other related sciences. There are a lot of the differences between the normal sciences and that being followed by the management.

In the case of the process of the management, there are no kinds of the truths that are fundamental in the nature but these are prevalent in the case of the normal sciences. One can not give any kind of the certainty of the results and hence in the other words it can b said that no kind of the prediction about the results can be given in the process of the management. The main reason for this is that here there is no use of the machinery or the various kinds of the infrastructure but instead there is the use of the human beings and in there case, the behaviour can not be assumed at any time duration. The ways and the means of the applications of doing the things in the case of the management can vary at different times and the places as well so the concept of the management is no doubt is a science but towards the softer end of the nature of the working.
